Accessibility Policy
Last updated August 3, 2026
We build websites for a living, so a website of ours that locks people out would be a poor advertisement. We want unspecifiedmedia.com to work for everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control.
What we are aiming for
We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard most widely referenced in the United States. We treat it as the target we build against rather than a certificate we claim to hold.
What we have done
- Text and background colors chosen for strong contrast, with body text kept solid black
- Every part of the quiz and the contact form reachable and operable by keyboard alone
- Form fields with visible labels, marked when required, and errors written in words
- Headings structured in order so screen readers can navigate the page properly
- Meaningful alternative text on images
- Text that reflows and stays readable when magnified or viewed on a small screen
- Buttons and links that describe what they do rather than saying “click here”
Where we know we fall short
Being straight about this is more useful than claiming the site is perfect. We have not yet completed a full independent accessibility audit, and we have not tested with every combination of screen reader and browser. There will be issues we have not found.
We also link to third-party services we do not control. Their accessibility is their own, and we cannot guarantee it.
Tell us when something does not work
If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, we want to hear about it. Email contact@unspecifiedmedia.com with the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. That last detail helps us reproduce the problem quickly.
We aim to reply within five business days. If a fix will take longer than that, we will tell you what we are doing and offer another way to get what you needed in the meantime.
Getting the information another way
If the quiz or the form is not workable for you, email contact@unspecifiedmedia.com and we will go through the same questions with you directly and send you the same resources. Nothing on this site is available only through the quiz.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is not a task that gets finished. We review it as we change the site, and we treat reported barriers as faults to fix rather than requests to consider. This page is updated when our approach or our known issues change.
